VENTURI SCRUBBER
A venturi scrubber accelerates the waste gas stream to atomize the scrubbing liquid and to improve gas-liquid contact. In a venturi scrubber, a “throat” section is built into the duct that forces the gas stream to accelerate as the duct narrows and then expands.
CYCLONE SEPARATORS
Cyclone separator is a system used to separate bulk solids from the air or gas stream. The solution of the cyclone separator is totally dependent upon the type of material, material characteristics, particle size, throughput capacity etc. It operates on vortex separation principle.
BIO FILTERS
In a biofilter the to-be-cleaned gas stream is passed upwards through a filter bed, which has been constructed of biological material, for example, compost, tree bark or peat. The filter material carries a thin film of water which is home to micro-organisms.
CATALYTIC OXIDIZERS / REACTOR
Catalytic oxidizers use a catalyst to promote the oxidation of VOCs to CO2 and water (i.e., increase the kinetic rate). The catalyst therefore allows oxidation to occur at lower temperatures than for thermal oxidation; catalytic oxidizers generally operate between 650°F and 1000°F
DUST COLLECTOR
Smaller dust collection systems use a single-stage vacuum unit to create suction and perform air filtration, where the waste material is drawn into an impeller and deposited into a container such as a bag, barrel, or canister. Air is recirculated into the shop after passing through a filter to trap smaller particulate
WET ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR
In addition to reducing emissions and opacity from a stack, wet electrostatic precipitators can be used to recover valuable product from a process gas. Wet and dry ESPs operate on the same basic principles: Charging of incoming particulate with negative ions from corona generation using a high voltage system.
AIR CHANGE SYSTEM
These systems range from a conceptual system of perfect displacement, which removes and replaces all air in a space, to a short circuit flow in which very little of the existing air is replaced. The actual amount of air changed in a well mixed ventilation scenario will be 63.2% after 1 hour and 1 ACH
AIR COOLING AND VENTILATION
Outside, fresh air is generally drawn into the system by a vent into a mix air chamber for mixing with the space return air. Then the mixture air enters an indoor or outdoor heat exchanger section where the air is to be cooled down, then be guided to the space creating positive air pressure
HUMIDITY CONTROL SYSTEM
The system controls temperature and humidity at the reference point by adjusting the flow of hot water into a heating coil for heating operation and the flow of chilled air through an air duct for cooling operation.
BAG FILTER
A bag filter is a filtration type dust collector that mainly collects dust or solid particles from exhaust gas in industrial processes. By selecting suitable filter (filter bag), it is applicable to various exhaust gases with a wide range of temperatures and compositions.
GAS SCRUBBER
A scrubber is a waste gas treatment installation in which a gas stream is brought into intensive contact with a liquid, with the aim of allowing certain gaseous components to pass from the gas to the liquid. Scrubbers can be employed as an emission-limiting technique for many gaseous emissions.
CHEMICAL FUME SCRUBBER
The chemical vapors are drawn into the bottom of the tower and pass up through a packed bed chamber. This packed bed chamber is wetted with a chemical reagent (or water) via spray nozzles inside the tower. This reagent is used to neutralize any hazardous fumes or any unwanted particles from the chemical vapor stream.
SOLVENT RECOVERY PLANT
